Best of 2006

There are still a couple weeks left in the year, but I can't resist making my annual list of good things that happened to me in 2006. I have such an incredible life and am so blessed.
Here's the Best of 2005 and Best of 2004

Good things in 2006

- getting engaged!
- singing Pie Jesu by Andrew Lloyd Weber for Holy Thursday (it rocked)
- having a craft design published (and getting paid)
- several dinners at Swiss vineyards while the sun set in the Alps
- winning an award, $1,000 and picking up the award in NYC
- dinner with the CEO and him telling me he liked my blog
- meeting my emergency fund goal
- racing my Mini on a real race track
- successfully designing something in photoshop
- dinner at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant in Minneapolis
- my first sale on Etsy
- dark chocolate from Switzerland
- walking along the river on a beautiful Philadelphia day
- breakfast in bed on my birthday
- having my tarot cards read in NYC at 1 in the morning
- reserving the Crawford Auto museum for our wedding reception and paying a total of $250
- out of sight anniversary dinner at M Bistro
- a digital camera

Best of 2005

This weekend Mike reminded me that I created a post last year called Good things for 2004.

So without further delay, in no order, here is my list of good things from 2005:
- a positive net worth for the first time
- holding 1-day old Owen Bruin in the hospital
- going to the Indianapolis 500
- a garage for my car
- participating in my first craft sale and selling something
- realizing i'm going to end up with Mike for life
- withholding the correct amount of federal tax
- a new computer!
- the wonderful salmon at the Eiffel Tower restaurant in Las Vegas
- setting aside money for Christmas presents by Thanksgiving
- my own craft room!
- drinking cosmos in Minneapolis at a swank restaurant
- fun Christmas party with the girls

There were so many special moments for me in 2004.

- performing a song I wrote
- Amy's tea party bridal shower

- an afternoon by the fountain at Point Park in Pittsburgh
- discussing music, writing, and life with Craig in the Las Vegas airport

- sleeping on faux fur
